He was the happiest man on earth. He was about to marry his dream girl. Unfortunately she had other plans and dumped him for his cousin. The young man was shattered and very angry. His trust in women took a very deep dive. Will he ever recover? Fortunately, since he is only a character in a soap opera, he should recover after a week or so? However, consequences in real life just tend to be a lot more serious. How does one recover?

I am on a never-ending personal journey with God to discover more and more of His love; love that exceeds all knowledge. Since God is in me, I experience His love, which is rooted and founded in me. (Ef 3:17) Since I am in God, He feels all my love, all my joy, all my sadness, all my hurts, all my anger and all my fears. He is both my father and friend. I am really only beginning to discover the vastness of His love.
There are times though that He just feels a bit distant. Times, when I seem to revert to an old habit of worrying about my circumstances and future. Times, when I am just not sure why I think or feel the way I do. Times, when I say or do things that are detrimental to myself or others. Then there is always the glorious time when God reveals to me the cause of all the undesirable times. I recently had such an experience.
Power of Identity in God

God uses different means of leading us to discover our identity in Him and I would dare to say that, most of the time, we are unaware of when He is doing it. When I left to attend a course in mature adulthood, I had no idea that I was about to discover my identity in God. During the course the Holy Spirit lead me to understand, for the first time, the real meaning of Col 1:21 and Eph 3:17. God is in me!

I recently reviewed my life journey for the past year and made an awesome discovery. I could clearly differentiate between two periods in my life. The midpoint between the two periods was the day that I fell in love with God. Since that joyful day I could clearly recognize a progressive improvement in my actions and attitude towards problems and everyday frustrations. I am handling anything that comes my way just a whole lot better.

Communication is the life blood of every relationship, especially a love relationship. Soul mates know each other so well that they often communicate without saying a word. One of my friends always tilts his head slightly to the right when not completely happy with what another person is saying. Fact is that the more you get to know a person the better you recognize and understand their intentions and reactions in specific situations.
The Real source of JOY

During a period of adversity, I fell in love with God. I can honestly say that it is absolutely amazing to be in love with God. One of the most awesome things from my relationship with God is the abundant joy that it gives me.
There were times in my life when I just felt drained, depressed and really desperate for joy. Usually God would then gracefully, through a thought, remind me to pray for joy. I prayed and God responded. Unfortunately the joy only lasted for a short while.
Love starts with a thought.

I still remember the first time I fell in love with a beautiful young girl. My heart was burning inside and I just could not stop thinking about her. Sound familiar? I am sure everyone who ever fell in love had similar experiences. Some people fall in love on first sight, others after knowing each other for a while and others after being friends for a long time. The one thing everyone has in common with falling in love is that first thought. The first thought leads to the first feeling and in turn the first feeling leads to more thoughts and more feelings.

During the past 10 months I have been going through a really tough time. Adversity, I never expected, nor wanted hit me like a tsunami. I am sure that I am not alone in adversity and everyone at some or other time goes through a very tough experience. The great thing about adversity is the fruit that it produces.

- Submitted by MICHAEL L ADAMS (not verified) on Sat, 05/14/2011 - 19:47.Hi my name is michael and i belive that god talks to every on though there mind i have a lil story about this well i was 13 years old iam 20 now and i still dont really understand it well like i siad i was 13 and i was huffin gas for an hour i passed out woke back up and did it again and it hit me i herd a scary song in my head and my throat started to close shut like sum one was chokein me and i started prayin never prayed in my life well when i started doin that it stoped like nuttin even happend so... then a month goes by and i do it again just one time and it hit me again so i take off runnin down the road yellin am gonna die.... so i started prayin again and it stoped but this.. my dad came down the rd to see what was wround... he asked me and i lied and said it just hit me again and i started fellin my throat close up agian.. So i told him what i done and it stoped ever since that day i can hear god though my mind but i dont really understand what iam surposed to doo. and i cant really talk to any one about it cause iam affred of what they are gonna say......... but wile i was growin up there was one day that god told me u are on gonna be tested when u get where your goin there is gonna be a red gascan on the front porch and i didit really pay attien well sure enouf there was a red gascan sittin there but i didit huff it... but every singal day that goes by he is talkin to me its really hard to explain to people cause i cant even fully understand......... but i think wants me to warn people about the 2 cummin cause i have been havein dreams about when jesus comes back like last night i had dream that the trumpets were blowin... idk if any one can help me understand PLZ CONTACT ME........

I believe he is also warning me of the second coming> I haven't had any dreams, but I can hear him. One thing he has said to me was "fire and brimstone." He has also given me advice in my personal life. I haven't told anyone because I'm afraid they'll think im crazy and commit me to a hospital. The first few times it happened I was scared sh*tless. But now I think I am becoming more used to it.....except.......I'm a little on edge because sometimes He sounds angry with me.
